Don grew up in Higginsville, Missouri and graduated from Higginsville High School in 1952. Don worked with his father, Roy F. Wiegers, in the family funeral home located at 1701 Main Street, until he and his wife Pat purchased the business in 1970. Don and Pat continued in the family funeral home business until Don’s illness and death in 2004.
Established in 1947 and purchased by Christopher Kaiser in 2002. Kaiser-Wiegers Funeral Home stands alone in customer care and service. Chris Kaiser has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1988.
