Ralph P. Meyers, 86, of Dover, died January 16th at the Lutheran Nursing Home in Concordia  

He was born May 31, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to John and Nellie (Johnson) Meyers. 

He married Bette Ann Fox on Nov. 9, 1963 in Independence, MO

Ralph worked in Kansas City as a lithographer for Commercial Lithographing for many years. He then moved to Art Litho Company where he was a salesman until his retirement in 1989. While still working, they moved to Bette’s family farm in Dover. On that property they owned and operated Meyers Christmas tree Farm.

Ralph was a member of the Lexington Knights of Columbus Fr. David Schwartze Council #7781 and was a member of the Graphic Communications Union since 1948.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Fordham.

Robert Meyers (Val) of Montrose, CO
Randall Meyers of Spoleto, Italy
Half-brother: John Glen

7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Tuesday, January 26th at 1:00 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Higginsville.

Visitation will follow at 1:30 pm, and a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:30 pm, officiated by Father Tom Hawkins.

He will be buried in the St. John’s Cemetery at Dover. 

Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Cemetery or Wayside Waifs in lieu of flowers.
