Robert W. Kenney, 92 of Higginsville, died at his home on December 31st.
He was born April 28, 1923 in Diggins, MO to Fredrick and Anna (Schroeder) Kenney.
He married Norma Roberts December 16, 1967.
Robert was a Navy veteran from WWII. He served 3 years as a tail gunner in the south Pacific. When he was discharged he moved to Lexington, where he lived for almost 20 years.
Robert was an Angus cattle rancher. He built everything on his land, between Higginsville and Corder, from the ground up, starting in 1966. Robert died in the house he built.
He is preceded in death by his wife Norma, and a brother, Warren Kenney.

2 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 4th at 2:00 pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Marcus Jauss.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral
Casket Bearers will be Doug, Dustin and Dalton Kenney, Mike Hoeppner, Rick Failing, Chris Homfeld
He will be buried at the City Cemetery with a military honor guard in attendance.
