Gary E. Doss, 68, of Higginsville, died September 16th at Research Medical Center.
He was born June 26, 1947 in Higginsville to Rondal and Lily (McAllister) Doss.
He married Libby Nicholas on December 22, 1988.
Gary was an over-the-road truck driver for various companies ending with FedEx for the past 20+ years.
He was a member of the Higginsville Masonic Lodge #364 A.F. & A.M., the Ararat Shrine, American Legion Post #223, VFW Post # 6270, and a former member of the Jaycees. He was an Air Force Sgt during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond and Ricky; and 2 sisters, Ruth Young and Agnes Main.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 20th from 3-5 pm at Kaiser~Wiegers Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Monday, September 21st at 10:00 am at the City Cemetery with military honors and with Pastor Tim Biesemeyer officiating.
Casket Bearers are Wes Doss, Sr., John Main, Danny Thoman, Aiden Doss, Douglas Doss, Ronnie Doss. Honorary casket bearers are Chris Jones, Ian Doss, Tim Doss
