B.B. Henley, 84, of Higginsville, died September 13th at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg. 


He was born April 12, 1931 in Batesville, AR to Ira and Bertha (Jacobs) Henley, Sr.
He grew up in California, MO, attending school there until his senior year when he enlisted in the Army. While in the Army, he completed his GED.
B.B. retired from Lake City where he had become a supervisor at their wastewater treatment plant.
He was the youngest of 10 children. He is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by:
Son: Quentin Henley (Laura) of Higginsville
Step son: Darren Gyton of Manhattan, KS
Step daughter: Carol Gyton-Horn (Terry) of Maricopa, AZ
Sister: Betty Jean Dummermuth of Russellville, MO
4 Grandchildren

Graveside services will be Thursday, September 17th at 11:00 am at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, officiated by Dr. Greg Fine
Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Veterans Home, in lieu of flowers.
