Emil Wehmhoener, 90, of Higginsville, died July 16th at the Meyer Care Center.
He was born May 25, 1926 in Kansas City, MO to Emil A. and Nellie (Essex) Wehmhoener, Sr.
He married Jean Guenther on May 18, 1947 in the Waverly Baptist Church.
Emil worked over 20 years at Lake City as the Chief Safety Officer. He then went to the Department of Labor when they created OSHA and had a second career there, totally 41 years of service. He loved to travel and visited 47 states.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 19th at 2:30 pm at the First Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Greg Fine.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral
He will be buried in the Waverly Cemetery
