Lambert E. Stuenkel, 92, of Corder, was born October 2, 1924 in Corder and called to eternal life November 27, 2016 in Higginsville. He was the son of the late Theodore J. and Lydia (Tieman) Stuenkel. He lived in Corder all of his life. On July 21, 1962 he married Lois Ferber in Milwaukee, WI. He was a retired farmer.
Lambert was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Corder. He was very active in church activities and cherished being an elder, Sunday School Superintendent and choir member for over 75 years, plus other offices.
His other activities in the past included President of PWSD #2, Director of Concordia Farmers Mutual, Director of the Corder Bank, and the Corder Picnic Association. He also was a past board member of the Farm Bureau, Lafayette County Milk Producers and 4-H.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Anna Nienhueser-Stuenkel; brothers, Vernon and Orville Stuenkel and brother-in-law, Bob Cooper.

Grandchildren: Megan Roscher (Kent), Zachary Stuenkel, Tarin and Kelsey Stuenkel.
Great Grandchildren: Hudson and Kase Roscher
Visitation will be Tues, Nov. 29th at the Zion Lutheran Church in Corder from 5-7 pm
Funeral Services will be held Wed. Nov. 30th at the church at 10:30 am, officiated by Pastor Mark Junkin
He will be buried in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery
