Roger L. Nolte, 87, of Higginsville, died November 16th at the Meyer Care Center
He was born April 21, 1929 in Mayview to August W. and Esther M. (Knollenberg) Nolte.
He married Betty Ann Starkebaum on July 21, 1954 in Lexington, MO. She preceded him in death on August 15, 2004.
Roger was, first and foremost, a farmer. He also worked for Citizens Telephone Company for over 30 years as the outside plant supervisor.
He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #223. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA and MU Alumni Assoc. He was a past Rotarian and past Higginsville Development Board member.

sister: Anna Schmidt.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 22nd at 11:00 am at Salem United Church of Christ, officiated by Dr. Tommy Faris
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral, starting at 9:30 am
Casket Bearers will be Trenton Nolte, Damon Nolte, Paul Nolte, Robert Nolte, William Nolte, Scott Wright
He will be buried at the Salem UCC Cemetery
