Carol Ann Wade, 77, of Higginsville, formerly of Mayview, died September 7th at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
She was born August 28, 1941 in Sweet Springs, MO to Alvin and Ethel (Brammeier) VonHolten
She married Jack E. Wade on March 7, 1958 in Imperial Beach, CA
They moved to Mayview in 1989. She moved to Higginsville after Jack’s death on October 12, 2017.
Carol was a homemaker and volunteered at the Classic Shop. She was talented at painting and drawing. She was a loving and doting grandmother.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Milton Kurtz and Al J. VonHolten.
She is survived by:
Son: Steven G. Wade (Rebecca) of Burlington, WA
Daughter: Deborah L. Rocha (John) of Mayview
Sister: Patricia Jensen of Orrick
4 Grandchildren: Wade A. Thomas (Lindsey),
Ashleigh R. Bridges (Bobby), Shelby G. Wade, Scott G. Wade
4 Great Grandchildren: Noah B., Aiden A., Leo P. Thomas and
Autumn R. Bridges
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 12th at 11:30 am at Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home in Higginsville, officiated by Dr. Tommy Faris.
Casket bearers will be Wade Thomas, Bobby Bridges, Ian Wade, Larry White, Timothy Lipe, David Raines
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
She will be buried in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
