William “Bill” Trigg, 86, of Higginsville died May 1, 2019 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg.
Bill was born March 8, 1933 in Higginsville to Stephen and Mary Marie (Vermillion) Trigg.
He married Joan Graham on May 29, 1953. She preceded him in death in January of 1997.
Bill served nearly five years in the US Navy. When he returned home he worked for the Graham-Trigg appliance store, Lefman Appliance, Lake City ammunition plant; was a driver for Skelly distribution and Thrifty LP gas; and worked over 20 years in maintenance at Meyer Care Center.
He was a former member of the Higginsville Jaycees and the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of American Legion Post 223 and the First Baptist Church. He drove the church bus for many years.
He enjoyed woodworking and going to Pomme de Terre Lake. He was an avid animal lover and delighted in all children, especially following his grandkids sporting activities.
In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by brothers, S.W., Jr., Kenneth, Peter, George, and Jim Trigg; sisters, Martha Foulds, Grace Stuedle, Mary Seaman, JaniceTrigg, and Judy Poole; and grandson Michael Franklin Trigg.
He is survived by:

brother-in-law: Butch Graham (Janice) of Higginsville
Six grandchildren: Jill Gassen (Michael Stewart), Jared Gassen, Tim Trigg (Megan), Michael Ryan Trigg (Pam), Philip Lee Trigg (Merissa), Stephen John Trigg (Tiffany)

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 19th at 2:00 pm at Kaiser-Wiegers Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
He will be buried at the Higginsville City Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg or the Mid-America Boston Terrier Rescue.
