Arthur B. Thaller, 76, of Higginsville, died March 1, 2021.
He was born January 5, 1945 in Higginsville to Charles and Gertrude Anna (Orldelhide) Thaller.
He married Marjorie Ann Wahlers in December 1979. She preceded him in death in February of 1986. He married Connie Sue Kegley Kumm June 14, 1986. She preceded him in death October 15, 2014.
Arthur graduated from Higginsville High School in 1963. He attended the Ranken School of Mechanical Trades from September of 1963 to May of 1965, earning a degree in refrigeration. Soon after graduation he entered the Air Force, serving from September of 1965 to February of 1969. After his honorable discharge he was employed at the family business, Thaller Electric. After his father passed away, Arthur started Thaller Refrigeration Service, operating it from February of 1999 to 2011.
Arthur has always been an active member of the Salem United Church of Christ. He was a member of the church choir since 1959, he served on the church council, as superintendent of the Sunday school, and a member of the board of Christian education.
Arthur is an Eagle Scout and Son of Copper Trails in the tribe of Mic-O-Say. He served on the Higginsville Board of Aldermen, representing the second ward. He was a former member of the Jaycees, the country fair board, and was a volunteer fireman for 28 years, retiring in 2005. He was a former member of the Husker band boosters, and was the equipment manager for four years.
In addition to his two wives and his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, David Thaller and ½ brother, Louis Thaller.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 26th from 6-8 pm at the Salem United Church of Christ
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 27th at 10:00 am at the church
His ashes will be buried at the Salem UCC Cemetery
Memorials are suggested to the Higginsville Senior Center or the Higginsville Women's Fire Auxiliary
