Lester Swigart, 77, of Higginsville, died July 4th at this home.
He was born January 19, 1942 in Buckner, Missouri to Oddis and Dorothy (LaRue) Swigart
He married Barbara Ann Keller on June 23, 1963 in Higginsville. He was in the Air Force at the time of their wedding. They lived in Florida for 3 years and then returned to Higginsville, where they have lived ever since.
Lester worked, as an assembler, at the GM Chevrolet Leeds plant. After retirement he ran a mobile welding service.
Lester loved motorcycling and flying remote control airplanes.
He is preceded in death by a brother, John Swigart.

Brother: Kenneth Swigart (Billie) of Higginsville
7 Grandchildren: Christy, LeaAnn, Jayme, Cindy, Shelby, Nathan, Savannah 
4 Great Grandchildren: Trevor, Trenton, Trey, Luke
Visitation will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 from 10:30-11:45 at Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home
Graveside Services will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at noon.
