Richard Ryun, 79, of Higginsville, died January 29, 2020 at the Village Hospice House in Lee’s Summit.
He was born May 17, 1940 in Chula, Missouri to Johnny and Gracie (Keith) Ryun.
He grew up in Dover and graduated from Lexington High School after the schools consolidated. He married Sue Barber on October 28, 1961. She preceded him in death on Feb. 12, 2003
Richard was a farmer and also a heavy equipment operator for Gash Plumbing.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Dye Pulling Team.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina; an infant son and daughter; sisters, Mildred Fales and Lois Frikken.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 3rd from 6-7:30 pm at Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 4th at 10:30 am at Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home
He will be buried at the Dover Cemetery.
Casket Bearers are John Dye, Robert Martens, Mike Benedick, Stan Roepe, Gary Buesing, Mike Root, Jr.
