George P. Nuelle, 91, of Higginsville, died February 22nd at his home.
He was born May 23, 1926 in Higginsville to George P. and Margaret Ann (Foster) Nuelle, Sr.
He married Hazel Flanigan on November 23, 1952 in Lexington.
George worked for a couple of years in the KC stockyards. They moved back to Higginsville where he worked for Eagle Mill, as a bookkeeper, for 30 years. He also raised cattle and hay for over 50 years.
George served in the Army in WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post #223 and the Lafayette County Cattleman’s Assoc. He raised fox terriers for many years.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Bill Nuelle.

Daughter: Liz Nuelle of Parkville
Sisters: Martha Anderson of Higginsville

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 5:30 pm on Monday, February 26th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Visitation will follow from 6:00-7:30 pm
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 27th at 10:30 am at the church, officiated by Fr. Tom Hawkins.
Casket bearers will be Alex Nuelle, Ben Nuelle, Chad Nuelle, David Nuelle, Chris Flanigan, Mike Williams, Benny Spain, Matt Miller
He will be buried at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
