James H. Hursman, 78, of Higginsville, died May 8th at the Meyer Care Center.
He was born December 18, 1940 in Elmwood, Missouri to Earl and Irene (Hayes) Hursman.
He worked as a die caster at Lyons Die Casting, in Buckner, for 34 years. 
He enjoyed NASCAR races and watching his grandkids play sports; and was a loving father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by daughters, Stacey Mae Washington and Chrystal Racheal Hursman; sisters, Earline Redden and Mary Lou Hall.
He is survived by:

Brothers: Basil Hursman (Wilma) of Higginsville
Joe Hursman (Judy) of Higginsville
Junior Hursman (Freda) of Cole Camp
Sister: Loretta Hall of Warsaw
3 Grandchildren: Chase Berry, Clayton Berry, Kristen Frizzell
Funeral services will be Monday, May 13th at 4:00 pm at the Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home, officiated by Chaplain Mark Wenger.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
There will be a private burial at the City Cemetery.
