Thomas J. Houston, 89, formerly of Higginsville, died February 7th at the Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born March 5, 1927 in Lebanon, MO to Joseph and Tena (Bacon) Houston.
Tom served in the Navy Seebees from April 1945 to July 1946.
He married Betty Franke on Sept. 3, 1951. She preceded him in death on April 2, 2004. He moved to Tennessee and married Polly Suttle. She preceded him in death in November 2016.
Tom worked at Lake City for Remington-DuPont for 31 years. He also ran the Easy Wash Laundromat in Higginsville.
In addition to his wives, he is preceded in death by a son, Greg Houston and two brothers, James and Jerry Houston.

Visitation will be Monday, February 13th from 6-7:30 pm at Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 14th at 10:30 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Marcus Jauss.
He will be buried in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery
