Donald Ray Higgins, 66, of Corder and Higginsville, Missouri became complete in Christ on October 23, 2019.
He was born February 11, 1953, in Springfield, Missouri to Leroy Estes Higgins and Beulah Rae Masingale.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Higginsville, Missouri. During his earthly life, he lived in Missouri, Kansas, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. He served as Deacon, Sunday school Director, and Youth Camp Counselor. He never knew a stranger, loved photography, fishing, car racing, gardening, his cat Missy. He graduated from Higginsville High School in 1971.
Before retiring, he worked 22 years as an over the road truck driver, in truck stop and restaurant management, and traveled as a family portrait photographer.
He is survived by his sister, Marilyn (Ronald) Leonard, Hermitage, Tennessee; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 25th at 11:00 am at the City Cemetery
