Pam Fisher, 64, of Higginsville, died August 31st at Centerpoint Medical Center.  

She was born March 16, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois to Kenneth and Esther (Houtchens) Lasswell.

She grew up in Clinton, Missouri and graduated from High School there. She attended CMSU and graduated in 1975. While in college she met Robert Fisher. There were married on December 10, 1976. They moved to Higginsville in 1981. 

Pam worked at Supersweet for a while, then at Citizens telephone for over 10 years. She owned and operated the Quilter’s Harvest Quilt Shop for many years. After closing the shop she enjoyed being a substitute teacher at the Lafayette C-1 and Lexington elementary and middle schools. 

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She served as a Girl Scout leader for over 5 years, and took the troop to Savannah, GA, the birthplace of Girl Scouts. She was also a leader trainer for the Mid-Continent Council.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

5 Grandchildren:      Amarah Johnson, Keeley Grass, Vincent Beretta,
                              LaLand Beretta, Bentley Beretta 

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Terry Cook.
