Tom “Jack” DeMasters, 87, of Corder, died September 18th at the Meyer Care Center

He was born October 8, 1929, in Waverly, to Otis and Sylvia (Waterman) DeMasters  

He married Charlene Wilkerson on April 19, 1950 in Lexington. 

Jack worked at Lake City Ammunition plant for 34 ½ years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Corder Baptist Church. He enjoyed small engine repair and fishing. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Larry, Ronnie and Donnie DeMasters; brothers, Jesse, Charles, James DeMasters; sisters, Oletha Tolle and Mary DeMasters.

He is survived by:

Son:            Dennis DeMasters      of Radcliff, KY
Daughter:     Patricia Ellington        of Corder

5 Grandchildren:
                   Charles DeMasters, Lisa Nevels, Mark Ellington, 
                   Matthew DeMasters, Sher Shankle

9 Great Grandchildren:
                    Keegan and Peyton DeMasters,  Michelle Shankle,  
                    Jaxon and Kaylin Nevels,  Kyleigh and Micah Ellington, 
                    Avery and Molly DeMasters

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 22nd at 10:30 am at the Corder Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Ron Gross. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. 

Casket Bearers will be Mark Ellington, Charles DeMasters, Amber Keckencamp, Brenda Huntsman, Derek Nevels, Ted Draper, 

He will be buried in the Calvary Cemetery 

Memorials are suggested to Calvary Cemetery or Corder Baptist Church
