Margie L. Busch, 96, of Higginsville, died November 22, 2019 at the Meyer Care Center.
She was born August 5, 1923 in Odessa, MO to William and Frances (Crews) Glover.
She married George W. Busch on July 19, 1942, in Lexington, MO. They rented farms around the county until they bought their own. They lived there until they moved to John Knox Village East. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2004.
Margie worked for the Dept. of Agriculture at the ASCS office in Higginsville for over 29 years. She knew many farmers and loved the farm life. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school for over 25 years, served on the finance board, and was in the Altar Guild and Pricilla Circle
She also enjoyed the Royals, bowling and gardening.
She is also preceded death by her son, Ronald W. Busch and a brother, William L. Glover, Jr.

Daughter: Rebecca Shields (Dennis) of Overland Park, KS
4 Grandchildren: Ronald Busch II (Michele), Jason Shields (Patricia),
Jarrod Shields (April), Paige Hohmann (Michael)
6 Great Grandchildren: Joseph Busch, Caitlin and Alana Shields,
Matthew, Josh and Luke Hohmann
2 Step Great Grandchildren: Alex and Zachary Whittle
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 27th at 10:30 am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Kurt Brandon.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral
Casket bearers will be Ronald W. Busch II, Jason A. Shields, Jarrod T. Shields, Michael J. Hohmann, Wendell Busch, Roger Homfeld
Honorary Casket Bearers will be William Meyer, Stanton Thompson, Mark Gross, Gary Glover
She will be buried at the City Cemetery
