Paul E. Arndt, 84, of Higginsville, died Thursday August 6, 2020 at KU Medical Center.
He was born October 26, 1935, in rural Concordia, the first son of Charles E. and Josephine (Fleming) Arndt.
In 1955, he graduated from Higginsville High School. Following high school he joined the Air Force. Paul and Ginny Roberts were united in marriage on August 10, 1956.
Paul lived most of his life in Higginsville. He worked as a meat cutter for the local A&P Grocery Store. He then bought the meat processing plant in Higginsville in the early 1970s. He co-owned and operated Paul's processing plant and Arndt’s Refinishing Company, retiring in 2002.
Paul was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Higginsville and a former member of the Lafayette County Board of Sheltered Services. He was also a strong supporter of the 4-H program in Lafayette County.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ginny and their son Mark.

Private family services will be held.
He will be buried in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
