Dennis Coreigh Arndt, 71, of Litchfield, AZ, formerly of Higginsville, died on March 25, 2021, at his home.
He was born July 11, 1949, in Higginsville, MO, to Charles E. and Josephine (Fleming) Arndt.
Dennis had a love for horses while growing up in Higginsville. He also had a knack for working with his hands, from working at the school, doing maintenance, to working on houses and doing other handyman and maintenance work, including landscaping. He served in the Navy from 1969-1973.
He would do anything to help his family and siblings, which is how he ended up in Arizona to enjoy his retirement. He loved his visits when he came back to Missouri to see his kids and grandkids, and they sure loved to see him. He also loved getting up early every morning, meeting his friends at the waffle house, having breakfast and coffee, and giving the waitresses a hard time. All the workers at waffle house in Arizona became an extension of his family, and took very good care of him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Paul Arndt; and 2 Grandchildren.

7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held, with military honors, on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville Missouri.
