Paul V. Anderson, 62, died May 8th at his home in Kansas City, Kansas.
He was born June 9, 1956 in Kansas City, MO to Victor and Martha (Nuelle) Anderson.
He entered the Air Force February 1975 and served in Germany as a transportation supervisor where he earned the compensation medal the outstanding unit award and humanitarian service medals.
After his honorable discharge from the Air Force in September of 1981, Paul attended Central Missouri State University and Missouri University of Science and Technology. He lived in Richland for a while then moved to Derby, KS where he went to work for Hewlett Packard. He designed custom computer systems for corporate clients like Pizza Hut. He designed the first point-of-sale system that most systems today are still modeled after. He moved back to Higginsville and continued to work for HP out of their Kansas City, MO office. After his retirement he moved to the Kansas City area.
Paul was married three times.
He married Cindy Duran April 1, 1976. They divorced in 1981.
He married Carol Nelson in June 1983. She preceded him in death in 1991.
He married Cindy Doherty March 1, 1992. They divorced in 2003.
In addition to his wife, he is also preceded in death by his father and brothers, Stephen and Wayne Anderson.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 16th at 10:00 am at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery.
