Marilyn Ann Ainsworth, age 81, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Higginsville, Boonville and Carthage, MO, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 17, 2017.
She was born Marilyn Ann Mueller on January 4, 1936 in Higginsville, MO, the oldest of three children, to and Edward Eugene and Mabel Marie (Stuerke) Mueller.
She married James Carson Ainsworth on January 29, 1956 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Higginsville, MO.
Marilyn was homecoming queen and graduated from Higginsville High School in 1954. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and wife. Her favorite activities included genealogy, cross-stitch needlepoint, having coffee with her friends, and playing rummy with her grandchildren, whom she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister Jean White.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 30th from 10:30-11:30 am at the Kaiser-Wiegers Funeral Home
Graveside Services will be held at the Salem UCC Cemetery at noon.
There will be a luncheon following at the Salem Church.
